A huge sense of pride and achievement. Volunteer Roles Telephone Befriending | Quality – we ensure that our services are high quality, flexible, responsive and continually improving. Family friendly – we recognise that our service impacts on families and friends – not just the carer and the person they support – and so we design our services with that in mind. Availability and accessibility – we work to make our services available and accessible to as many carers and people with care needs as possible. Dignity and respect – we always treat carers and people with care needs with dignity and respect. Partnership working – we actively explore opportunities for establishing joint projects and relationships with other organisations that will improve services for carers and people with care needs. About Us Crossroads Care is Britain’s leading provider of support for carers and the people they care for. We work with over 35,000 individuals and their families, helping carers to make a life of their own outside caring. Volunteer Recruitment Crossroads recruits and train local people to provide much needed support to improve the health & wellbeing of carers in Rotherham. Crossroads recruit’s volunteers, of any age, who are able to give a little of their time to help reduce cares social isolation and improve their health and well-being. Crossroads has casual and permanent volunteering roles. Crossroads volunteers help to increase diversity, create connections in the local community, and give the scheme the opportunity to carry out new projects and add value to existing services. | |||
