31st Annual General Meeting

The 31st Annual General Meeting for Crossroads Care Rotherham came to a close yesterday afternoon and it was a HUGE success! Due to Covid restrictions last year, Crossroads Care Rotherham reluctantly had to cancel the AGM. However, this year’s AGM celebrated the 30+1 years of meetings with a lovely pearl theming (as seen below).

Carer’s Rights Day 2021

Carer’s Rights Day falls on Thursday 25th November this year. This event is about ensuring that carers (paid/unpaid) are aware of their rights and have the ability to access all the support that is available to them as soon as they need it, whether they are new to caring or have been caring for a while. Each year, Carer’s Rights Day helps by:

  • Ensuring carers are aware of their rights

Support for Carers from GP Practices

All GP surgeries in Rotherham have a Carers Register. If you care for a relative or friend in an unpaid capacity then talk to the receptionist at your GP practice and ask to add your details to their Carers Register. The fact that you are a carer is then highlighted in your health record and your GP will take this into account when offering advice about your health.

CQC rates Crossroads Care Rotherham as Outstanding once again!

Crossroads Care Rotherham is a registered charity and a not for profit organisation. At the time of the inspection, the service supported 300 people with various care needs, from social support to support with personal care and independence.
