Purpose

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a caring, outgoing and nurturing person to join our growing Day Centre.

The aim of the role is:

To provide person centred support and assistance to clients within a Day Centre setting to enable them to enjoy a social environment whilst retaining maximum dignity and respect.

To lead on all aspects of the Day Centre, including completing individual tailored support plans, planning and delivering activities, social interaction and ensuring the safety and wellbeing of attendees at all times.

To plan and deliver uplifting and varied activities in line with the individual support plans.

To work within health & Safety and Food Hygiene regulations.

To complete Risk Assessments and other documentation to maintain the safety and wellbeing of attendees.

To work with colleague and volunteers to ensure a quality service is delivered.

The Day Centre currently operates weekly on a Tuesday and Thursday. Friday sessions to start within the next few weeks.
